Website creation in Iași

Website creation in Iași: from €150, with booking and English for students, remotely

Start with the small version and grow it on the same code when customers arrive. We work online, at the same price as in Bucharest or Cluj, with no travel costs.

A site for a city of healthcare, education and IT

From Iași you can start with a static site of 1–2 pages (€150–350), move up to a presentation site of up to 8 pages with booking and content admin, in Romanian and English (€600–1,500) or order a custom-coded web app (from €2,500). Prices are indicative and are agreed in writing before work starts. Danube Labs, a studio of one person in Bucharest, works with Iași firms entirely online: Google Meet calls and shared documents, with no office in the city.

Healthcare, education, administration and IT

According to Eurostat, public administration, education, health and social work produced 17.8% of the county's value added in 2023, against 13.1% in Romania, and information and communication produced 14.8%, against 7.7%. Manufacturing weighs 10.5%, against 15.2% nationally. For a local business that means demand for clinics and medical practices, private schools, tutoring centres and services for institutions, plus IT firms that sell abroad.

Students: English and French have an audience here

At the Iași University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the rector's report shows 2,622 international students from 73 countries on 1 January 2025. Of 9,357 bachelor-level students, 1,358 study in English and 1,319 in French. Eurostat counts 71,768 tertiary students in the North-East region in 2024. For a rental, a dental practice, a cafe or a workshop near the campuses, an English page with prices, hours and a map stands in for the questions you would otherwise get by phone.

The city's everyday language remains Romanian: in the 2021 census, 99.4% of those who stated a mother tongue in Iași municipality (200,731 of 201,942) said Romanian (INS). Languages other than English are added only if your customers ask for them.

Start small and grow when customers arrive

GDP per inhabitant was €14,000 in Iași county in 2023, against €16,900 in Romania, and the Trade Registry counted 62,979 active businesses at the end of 2025, about 81 per 1,000 residents (our own calculation from ONRC and Eurostat data), the lowest of the six cities in our guides. The 6,576 registrations in 2025 were up 36.3% on the year before, the largest rise among the same six.

Many owners of new firms therefore look for a first site at a small price. Our prices are the same nationwide, but the scope can be taken in stages: start with one page or a static site, then add booking, a second language or a catalogue, on the same code. Fewer firms per 1,000 residents does not guarantee less competition, because in Google you also compete with firms from other cities.

October and the other peaks

The pilgrimage of Saint Parascheva brings a very large number of pilgrims every year around 14 October. In 2025 it ran from 8 to 15 October, according to the Metropolis of Moldavia and Bukovina, and its statement speaks of about 300,000 people attending the events, a figure that comes from the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. For restaurants, lodgings and taxis, special opening hours go on the Google Business Profile (special hours) and in a notice on the site, with the menu, parking and booking.

At the same time, nights in the county fell from 662,533 in 2023 to 576,427 in 2025, a drop of 13.0%, and 14.5% of them were by foreigners (Eurostat). A site that lives only on tourists would be risky. Local customers and students bring the demand that lasts all year.

Iași and the communes around it

The city has 271,692 residents (INS, 2021), and six neighbouring communes add 94,077: Miroslava 28,534, Ciurea 17,254, Valea Lupului 14,510, Holboca 13,697, Tomești 12,169 and Bârnova 7,913. Mention them on your contact page if you serve them. Separate pages per commune are worth it only with a real address and details, otherwise Google treats them as doorway pages.

Related work

There are no client sites from Iași in the portfolio for now, so no invented references appear. For healthcare, RecMed is a medical clinic concept with a booking flow, labelled as a concept. For education, the BAC exam archive is a real product: 3,840 official exam papers from 2012–2026 across 13 subjects, with search, published as a static site. It shows how we organise a large volume of documents without a database. For a practice or a school in Iași, we discuss on the intro call which booking or enrolment flow fits. FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does a website cost in Iași?

The ranges we use: €150–350 for a static site of 1–2 pages, €600–1,500 for a site of up to 8 pages with booking, in Romanian and English, and from €2,500 for custom web apps. They are the same as in the rest of the country, indicative, negotiable and written into the quote before work starts.

Can I start with a small site and extend it later?

Yes. You can begin with a static site or a presentation site and add booking, a second language or a catalogue on the same code. We note in the quote what can be added and at what indicative price, so you do not rebuild the site from scratch.

Do you work remotely with firms in Iași?

Yes. The project is done online: Google Meet calls, shared documents for texts and photos, feedback on a shared screen. Danube Labs is one person based in Bucharest and has no office in Iași. The price is the one charged in any other city, and travel does not appear in the quote.

Do I need English on a practice's or a student service's site?

Probably, if you have international patients or customers. The Iași medical university reported 2,622 international students on 1 January 2025. An English page with services, prices, hours and a map helps them choose you without phoning. Other languages are added only if your customers ask.

How do I prepare the site for the October pilgrimage?

Two months ahead, we put the special hours on the Google Business Profile and in a notice on the site, with the menu or rates, parking and how to book. After the event, the notice is removed or updated for next year. You only need the admin panel to make the changes yourself.

Should I make separate pages for Miroslava, Valea Lupului or Ciurea?

Make them only if you have a real address or delivery zone in that commune and have something to say about it: the road, parking, hours. Google treats near-identical pages made for different localities as doorway abuse. Otherwise, list the communes on your contact page.

Who owns the domain and what do I pay after launch?

You own both. The domain sits in your company's name from the start, and we hand you the code in a Git repository you can access. You pay the providers directly for the domain, hosting and email. Small changes to texts and prices you make from the admin panel, without calling us.

Tell us what you sell and when you are busiest

A free first call, then a written offer in stages. You start with what you need now and add the rest later, with no obligation.
