Privacy policy

This website is operated by DANUBE LABS S.R.L., a company registered in Bucharest, Romania ("we"). This policy explains what personal data we collect through the site and how we use it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email address, company (optional) and the content of your message. We use it only to answer your enquiry and to follow up about the project you described.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records IP addresses, browser type and requested pages for security and troubleshooting, typically for no longer than 30 days.
  • Analytics: if analytics are enabled, we use privacy-respecting, cookie-free measurement to count visits and popular pages. No advertising trackers are used.

Legal basis

We process contact form data on the basis of your request (pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Log data is processed for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.

Retention

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, if a project follows, for the duration of the business relationship plus the period required by Romanian accounting law. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.

Sharing

Messages are delivered through our email provider and stored in our content repository. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes. Our hosting and email providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.

Embedded websites

The portfolio section shows other websites inside frames. Those sites are operated independently and may set their own cookies; their privacy policies apply to any interaction inside the frame.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or ask for a copy of your data. Write to eduard.secureanu@danubelabs.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP).
