Danube Labs was founded in Bucharest in 2026 to give companies one technical partner who builds, measures and stays accountable for the result.
Why it exists
Before Danube Labs, Alexandru spent years building AI and software products for others: translation apps, transcription systems, document tooling, educational platforms, SaaS. The same pattern kept appearing. Projects did not fail because the code was hard. They failed because the problem was never defined, the numbers were never checked, and the people building were three handoffs away from the people who needed the result.
Danube Labs is the answer to that pattern. One engineer who talks to you directly, treats every claim as a hypothesis to test, and delivers working software every week so there is never a surprise at the end. Specialists join when a project needs them; the accountability does not move.
The name comes from the river that connects ten countries. Infrastructure that quietly carries a lot of value across borders is the kind of thing we like to build.
