Websites for accountants: service packages, document upload and e-Factura guides, from €600

Clear packages, a safer way to receive documents and a trust section written with the CECCAR advertising rules next to us.

An accountant's site that clients trust and your branch accepts

We build websites for accountants and accounting firms: service packages with clear prices, a secure way to send documents, short guides on e-Factura and SPV, and a trust section that states your professional title as the rules expect. A presentation site (up to 8 pages, content admin, bilingual, technical SEO) usually costs €600–1,500. A static 1–2 page site is €150–350. A client portal with document upload is custom-coded and starts at €2,500. We work remotely and charge the same anywhere in Romania.

Services and packages that say what is included

Clients compare on what they get: monthly bookkeeping for a micro-enterprise, a PFA, payroll, VAT returns, annual statements, company registration, advisory hours. For each package state the volume covered (invoices, employees), the delivery times and what costs extra. Under article 5 of Law 365/2002, shown tariffs must say whether VAT is included.

Professional title and the CECCAR rules

The same article 5 requires providers of a regulated profession to show their professional title, the professional body and the applicable rules, with a way to reach them. For an accounting expert or authorised accountant that means the title, CECCAR membership and a link to the rules. The CECCAR advertising norms 1484/2009, as amended in March 2023, allow members to create presentation websites within the norms and the national code (article 2). They require any information or advertising to be truthful, fair and objective (article 6), and they bar quality assessments by comparison with other members (article 10). The CECCAR logo goes on a website only with the approval of the Permanent Bureau (article 13). So we write no best-in-town claims, no comparison tables against other firms and no logo until you hold the approval. Check the current norms on ceccar.ro, and ask your branch about any doubt.

A client portal, or a safer upload page

Bank statements and payroll files sent as email attachments are a weak link. Two options work: per-client folders in a cloud service you already pay for, with an upload page on your site, or a portal with accounts, upload and a status for each month (received, in progress, filed). A portal needs HTTPS, individual accounts, two-factor login, encrypted storage, an access log and deletion rules. You usually process client data on their behalf, and GDPR article 28 requires a written contract with each processor, including the host of your portal. Our cybersecurity basics guide covers the habits. A custom portal moves the price, so many small firms begin with the upload page.

e-Factura and SPV content that stays correct

Clients search for how to register in SPV and what happens if they miss a deadline. According to the Ministry of Finance, reporting in RO e-Factura has applied to B2B invoices since 1 January 2024 and to B2C since 1 January 2025; see its e-Factura legislation page. Publish short guides with a source link and a last-checked date, because outdated tax advice harms you. Our e-Factura guide is a starting point, and the content admin lets you update a page in minutes.

Onboarding and money-laundering checks

Law 129/2019 places accounting professionals among the entities with customer due diligence and reporting duties to ONPCSB. Keep identity documents out of the contact form and collect them in a dedicated onboarding step. The call booking on the site, the same kind we run on our own, lets a new client schedule a first conversation without exchanging documents first.

Trust and what moves the price

Show the names and photos of the people who answer, your member number, office hours and a response time you can keep. The norms list client names among the details printed materials may contain, but ask for written consent anyway. Price rises with a portal, extra languages for foreign-owned clients and integration with accounting software. See our cost guide or book a free call.

What the site includes

Six things an accountant's site needs

Written for clients who want clarity and for a profession with advertising rules.

  • Services and packages

Each package lists the volume covered, delivery times and extras, so a client can compare without calling.

  • Clear fees with VAT stated

Prices shown as the law asks: with a note on whether VAT is included.

  • Credentials and CECCAR-aware copy

Title, membership and a link to the rules, with no comparison claims and no logo before approval.

  • Safer document upload

An upload page or a client portal with accounts, so files stop travelling as email attachments.

  • e-Factura and SPV guides

Short dated guides with source links that you can update yourself in minutes.

  • First-call booking

A new client picks a time for a first conversation, with a confirmation and a reminder.

How it works

How an accountant's site project runs

  1. 1

    Call: services and client types

You describe who you serve (PFA, micro-enterprises, larger firms) and which services you want to sell first.

  2. 2

Drafts written next to the rules

We draft the packages and trust section with the CECCAR norms and Law 365/2002 open. You approve each claim. We give no legal advice; your branch can confirm doubts.

  3. 3

    Build, upload page or portal

We build the site and the upload flow you chose, with access rules and a processor contract checklist for your host.

  4. 4

    Launch with dated guides

The site goes live with your first e-Factura guides and a handover on updating them.

Related work

We have no client in accounting yet, so there is no accountant's site to show you. The closest work is professional-services sites. The law-firm website is a concept we built with practice-area pages, a bilingual blog and questions section, and booking forms with spam protection. This website is our own: bilingual, edited through an admin panel, with first-call booking on Google Calendar. We have not built a client portal for anyone, so we would scope it from your requirements. Both pages are labelled as a concept and our own site. See the portfolio.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does an accountant's website cost?

A static 1–2 page site costs €150–350. A presentation site with packages, guides, call booking and content admin is usually €600–1,500. A client portal with accounts and document upload is custom-coded and starts at €2,500, and the security scope moves the price. All prices are indicative and agreed in writing.

May a CECCAR member advertise on a website?

Yes, within the norms. CECCAR norms 1484/2009 allow members to create presentation websites if they follow the norms and the national code of ethics. Content must be truthful, fair and objective, and it cannot rate your work by comparison with other members. Check the current version on ceccar.ro.

Can I put the CECCAR logo on my site?

Only with approval. Article 13 of the norms says members listed in the Tablou may use the logo on a presentation website with the approval of the Permanent Bureau, and certain situations exclude it, such as unpaid dues. We leave the logo out until you hold the approval.

Is it safe for clients to send documents through the site?

It is safer than email attachments if the upload has individual accounts, HTTPS, encrypted storage and an access log, and if you keep a GDPR processor contract with the host. We scope that with you. Some firms start with an upload page into a cloud folder they already pay for.

How do I keep e-Factura guides correct?

Date every guide, link its source such as the Ministry of Finance e-Factura page, and review it when rules change. The content admin lets you edit a page in minutes. We can also point to our own e-Factura guide as background. An undated tax article ages quickly and can mislead clients.

Who writes the texts?

We draft the pages from your notes and a call, with the CECCAR norms and Law 365/2002 open, and you approve every claim before it goes live. We do not give legal advice, so for doubts about a statement ask your CECCAR branch. Tax guides should come from you or be sourced.

Can I show fixed prices for my packages?

Yes, and clients value it. Say what the price covers, the monthly volume and whether VAT is included, as article 5 of Law 365/2002 asks. For irregular work, show a starting price and explain how the final figure is set. Keep every figure one you honour.
