Website creation Constanța and the coast

Website creation in Constanța and for coast tourism: from €150, built for the season and for mobile

Fast pages on a phone, prices by period and a booking request for guesthouses, villas and venues. We work remotely, so you can set it up in winter, before the peak.

A site made for a year with two speeds

For a unit in Constanța or on the coast, a seasonal page of 1–2 pages costs €150–350. A guesthouse, villa or venue site of up to 8 pages, with a booking request and Romanian and English versions, costs €600–1,500, and a site with an availability calendar, custom-coded, starts at €2,500. Prices are indicative and written into the quote. Danube Labs is a one-person studio based in Bucharest. We have no office on the coast. The project runs online, through Google Meet and shared documents, so you can do it in whichever month suits you.

A year in two speeds

Eurostat publishes nights by month at regional level. In the South-East region, where Constanța county holds 83.3% of the nights, 2025 looked like this (Eurostat):

Month (2025)Nights, South-East region
January88,584
April128,166
June769,410
July1,974,330
August2,324,454
September554,020
December88,604

July and August made 64.5% of the year's nights, and August had 26 times as many as January. For a site, that calls for three things: prices by period in plain view, opening hours that are easy to change and a page that works without you when you are in the thick of the season. If you live there, winter is the moment to put it all in order.

The tourist is Romanian and searches on a phone

Of 5,552,533 nights in Constanța county in 2025, 5,382,653 (96.9%) were by Romanians and 169,880 (3.1%) by foreigners (Eurostat). The first language of the site is therefore Romanian, with English as a second, and no other languages to start with. If you have guests from one particular country, look for it in your booking list before you translate.

Google uses the phone version of a page for indexing and ranking, and guests choose where to stay from a phone, often on the beach. The page must load fast and show the call button in plain view. In the South-East region, only 53.54% of people ordered online in the previous 12 months, against 60.28% nationally (Eurostat), so the phone and WhatsApp sit next to the form.

Resorts with few residents and many guests

In the 2021 census, Mamaia had 441 residents, Neptun 771, Olimp 170, Saturn 84, Venus 42 and Jupiter 30 (INS). The figures show that a page cannot lean on the number of residents. On the accommodation page you write what the tourist looks for: the distance to the beach, parking, pets, the check-in rule. Each resort appears on your page only if you are located there. For rooms, rates and cancellation rules see the page on guesthouse websites.

Before the season and after it

Launch a few weeks before the peak, so you can see in Search Console what gets indexed and fix it. Seasonal hours go on the Google Business Profile through special hours or a temporary closure, and prices are changed from the admin panel. The photos of the rooms, the view and the yard are taken early, in good light, not on the day the season opens.

The city of Constanța has 263,688 residents all year. Trade, transport, accommodation and food service together produce 29.9% of the county's value added, against 22.2% in Romania (Eurostat, 2023). The category includes the port and logistics, but the statistics do not separate them from tourism. In 2025 the county imported goods worth €3.76 billion and exported €2.74 billion, 42.7% more than in 2024 (ARICE, based on INS data). A haulage, forwarding or port-services firm needs an English version, with services, areas and a request for quote. A practice, a restaurant or a workshop works with locals in winter too.

The coast gets no surcharge and no travel line in the quote: the price is the one charged in every other city. Read also how much a website costs in Romania.

What the site includes

Six things for coast tourism and services

For guesthouses, villas, venues and firms that work hard in summer and less in winter.

  • Phone first

Fast pages, large buttons and optimised images, for guests who choose where to stay from the beach.

  • Prices by period

A table by season, with minimum stay, VAT stated and what is paid on arrival, changed from the admin panel.

  • Call and WhatsApp in plain view

Buttons next to the form, for those who prefer to phone before they order.

  • Accommodation pages with practical details

Distance to the beach, parking, pets and the check-in rule, written for each unit.

  • Booking request with confirmation

The guest sends the dates, you confirm, and they receive the confirmation email.

  • Romanian and English

Romanian first, English as the second language, with correct tags for Google.

How it works

How a coast project runs

  1. 1

    Call in the off-season

We set the season calendar, the prices by period, the rooms and how you receive bookings today.

  2. 2

    Quote and first-launch pages

The price comes in writing, with the list of pages: accommodation, prices, location, contact, and what goes into the first launch.

  3. 3

    Build with your real photos

We build the pages, prepare your photos for fast loading and write the texts from your information.

  4. 4

    Launch before the peak

Domain, Search Console, a Google Business Profile with seasonal hours, then the handover: how you change prices yourself.

Related work

We have no client sites from the coast in the portfolio so far, and we invent no references. The nearest working example is this website: it has booking on Google Calendar, with confirmation and reminder emails. That booking handles meetings, not multi-night rooms, so it is a starting point for bookings; an engine for a hotel is written separately. RecMed is a clinic concept with a booking flow, labelled as a concept. For a unit on the coast, we discuss on the intro call which booking flow fits its size. For rooms and rates see the guesthouse page and the portfolio.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does a website for a seaside guesthouse or villa cost?

A seasonal page falls in the €150–350 band. For a site with up to 8 pages, in Romanian and English, with prices by period and a booking request, expect €600–1,500. A site with an availability calendar and deposit starts at €2,500. Prices are indicative and negotiable.

When should I build the site if I want it ready for the season?

A few weeks before the peak, ideally in the off-season. That gives you time to collect photos, set the prices by period and see in Search Console what gets indexed. A site launched in June loses the first weeks of the season, when guests are already choosing where to stay.

Do I need English on the site?

Probably as a second language. In 2025, foreigners made 3.1% of the nights in Constanța county, so the site starts in Romanian. Add English for guests from abroad, and other languages only if your booking list shows a country that keeps returning. Every language means a real translation.

Do you work remotely with businesses on the coast?

Yes, and it is an advantage: you can work on the site in winter, when you have time, without meeting at the resort. Danube Labs is one person from Bucharest, with no office on the coast. We talk on Google Meet, and photos and texts travel in shared documents. The price is the same as in the rest of the country, with no travel costs.

Can I take bookings directly, without a platform?

Yes, with a booking request that you confirm yourself, then a calendar and deposit if needed. A live calendar needs one source of truth, otherwise double bookings appear with the platforms. Start with the request flow and extend it when sync is verified.

How do I show seasonal hours in Google?

On the Google Business Profile we set special hours for the periods of reduced opening, or you mark the unit as temporarily closed. That is where guests look first for the phone number and hours. On the site we put the same hours and the prices by period, so both places say the same thing.

Who owns the domain and the code?

You own both. The domain is registered to your company, and at the end you receive the code in a Git repository. You pay the providers directly for the domain, hosting and email. You change prices by period and hours yourself from the admin panel, so you need not call us every season.

Tell us what unit you run and when your season starts

The best time for a call is the off-season. It is free, the offer comes in writing and it commits you to nothing. The site can be ready before the peak.
